Join us for a power-packed 1-day event at Ft. Pierce Central High School, where educators will find tailored sessions to enrich their teaching practice.

This dynamic conference offers a range of engaging sessions, ensuring there’s something for every teacher. As an added bonus, attendees will receive a stipend for each session they participate in, making this an unmissable opportunity for professional growth and collaboration.

1 Day - 4 Sessions

Mark your calendars for an enriching summer learning experience! Elementary teachers, your exclusive day is set for Monday, June 3rd, while secondary and K-12 P.E. teachers are invited to join us on Tuesday, June 4th. Each day is meticulously tailored to meet the unique needs of the specific grade bands, ensuring a focused and impactful learning experience.

Please note that session registration will NOT take place through Frontline. Instead, ALL registrations will be via the “Registration Page” on this site (which site?). Upon completion of Summer Summit, district personnel will award points in Frontline for sessions attended.

Remember, the sessions are uniquely crafted to cater to the specific needs of elementary and secondary/K-12 P.E. teachers, providing valuable insights and resources to enhance your teaching experience.

Jessica Gutierrez, M.Ed., is a dedicated Instructional Technology Specialist in the SLPS Curriculum department, bringing over 16 years of experience as an educator in St. Lucie Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. Passionate about blended learning and technology integration in the classroom, Jessica serves as the Canvas Admin for SLPS, providing invaluable support for K-12 Canvas and technology implementation. Her enthusiasm for sharing the latest Canvas updates, tips, and tricks makes her an invaluable resource for educators seeking to make technology integration exciting and effective. In addition to her role as a Canvas Advocate, Jessica is also a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, where she takes pleasure in training and supporting teachers and staff in all things tech. Her commitment to empowering educators and students through technology is evident in her unwavering dedication to enhancing the learning experience through innovative teaching methods.

Emmaline serves as the PE & Health Curriculum Developer for St. Lucie County. With 11 years of teaching experience spanning from Kindergarten to High School, Emmaline brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She earned her Masters in Educational Leadership through the ELITE partnership program. Emmaline leads professional learning for K-12 PE & Health teachers.  Emmaline also works closely with community partners to provide resources for her PE & Health teachers helping create meaningful and impactful learning experiences. In addition, Emmaline oversees several required instruction components and other content areas with district competitions to include the Commissioners Academic Challenge. She recently assisted in the creation of new Health Standards for the state of Florida. As a member of SHAPE America and SHAPE FL, Emmaline actively contributes to the advancement of physical education and health initiatives at both the national and state levels.

Jessica has been an educator in St. Lucie Public Schools for 15 years and is passionate and enthusiastic about blended learning and technology integration in the classroom. As the Canvas Admin for SLPS, she supports K-12 Canvas and technology implementation and integration. Sharing all the awesome Canvas updates, tips and tricks to make its integration exciting is one of her favorite roles. Jessica is also a Canvas Advocate and Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer and loves training and supporting teachers and staff in all things tech.
